I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded an NRRP for Culture grant in the amount of PLN 36,000. From September 2025 to February 2026, I carried out a project titled Place, within which I developed my artistic, ecological, and digital skills. The project grows out of my gratitude for the places that have shaped me—the mountains (the Pieniny, Gorce, and Sądecki Beskid ranges) and Kraków – where I feel deeply rooted. The project is addressed to artists, audiences of contemporary art, as well as to the residents and admirers of “the place” I portray. The project included a course on pigments, training in sustainable water-based painting techniques, the execution of a series of paintings using these methods, and my website. I am happy to share now the outcome of the project–this website, while work on the painting series will continue beyond the duration of the grant.
