I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded an NRRP for Culture grant in the amount of PLN 36,000. From September 2025 to February 2026, I carried out a project titled Place, within which I developed my artistic, ecological, and digital skills. The project grows out of my gratitude for the places that have shaped me – the mountains (the Pieniny, Gorce, and Sądecki Beskid ranges) and Kraków – where I feel deeply rooted. The project is addressed to artists, audiences of contemporary art, as well as to the residents and admirers of “the place” I portray. The project included a course on pigments, training in sustainable water-based painting techniques, the execution of a series of paintings using these methods, and my website. I am happy to share now the outcome of the project–this website, while work on the painting series will continue beyond the duration of the grant.
