I am a visual artist. I was born in 1976 in Kraków, where I currently live and work, although I spent my childhood and youth at the foothills of the Pieniny Mountains. This landscape shaped my sensitivity; I perceive nature as a source of inspiration and of questions that keep returning in my work.

My media include painting, drawing, and photography, and I also create objects and site-specific installations. My early fascination with mathematical abstraction evolved into an analytical, exploratory approach to art, which I combine with a lyrical mode of expression. In my practice, I seek to bring together different levels of reality—the material with the mental and sensory, and with that which eludes definition.
Perception, consciousness, and self-awareness are the themes my work addresses. I am also interested in non-human nature: its condition, its mystery, and our relationship with it. In one of my recent projects, titled Elements, I examined the senses as a link between consciousness and matter—a link that is beautiful, yet (im)perfect.
